Machining
Machining of plastics is one of Vink Plast’ core competencies. We have more than 50 years of experience in this special business area. We supply the industry with machined customer-specific components from very small and very precise components for measurement equipment to bigger, but still precise, sliding pads for the windmill industry.
Advantages:

- Less cost-effective at higher volumes
- Requires material choice to be available as semi-finished product
Components can easily be customized
Custom-made machined components in our production facilities for the windmill industry have become a core business area of Vink Plast, as the technology is perfect for smaller and medium-sized quantities.
There is no need to invest in expensive tools, and we can change the geometry of the components just by making adjustments in the CNC programs. The plastic materials also match the demands by the industry when it comes to the machining of the surfaces and the tolerances of the measurements.

Our modern machining department has updated machines for any task. We have multiple five-axis milling and turning centers and robot technology ensures that we are always able to optimize the processes. We continuously invest in new machines, and we make sure that new investments lessen the environmental impact by decreasing the production time and reducing the power demand of our production facilities.
