Vacuum Forming

Vink Plast supplies vacuum-formed plastic solutions and offers consulting in terms of material selection and developing the product, and we handle the production of the mould tools.

We can do this based on the customers’ 3D drawings, or we can produce the 3D CAD drawings of the final product. Vacuum forming is especially useful for large parts.

Advantages:

  • Each piece is relatively quick to produce
  • Low cost
  • Mould/tools costs is relatively low

Disadvantages:

  • Simple designs as complexity is limited by the mould
  • Best suited for small-scale production

Inhouse toolmakers

The quality of the mould tools is a deciding factor for a stable and high quality production of the finished products. At Vink Plast we have in-house toolmakers that produce moulds and fixtures/fittings of smaller sizes. In a short time we can make changes, maintenance and repair work on the mould tools. It ensures a stable production process for our customers. We cooperate with mould makers in Denmark and other EU countries. Our network of partners enables us to produce high quality products while maintaining swift delivery times.

We support a wide range of industries

We produce components in a broad selection of materials. They can be made in different colours and different surface structures. We have a machine capacity to produce components with a thickness of 0.5 to 12 mm and in dimensions of 1200x1500x600 mm. We have a close network of partners that can produce even larger components. Our 5-axis machines help achieve the high quality finish that we are known for at Vink Plast.

Our customer segments span wide. We produce components for the windmill industry, agriculture machinery, rehabilitation equipment, lamp manufacturers and much more. The wide range of industries means that we have experience making many different types of components with very different requirements. Some examples are transparent domes for lamps, screens and bodywork for vehicles and other forms of barriers both for safety and decorative purposes. The possibilities in vacuum moulding are endless.
