Why do a retrofit?
Retrofit or retrofitting involves fitting new parts to existing windmills that have already been set up. The reasons for doing a retrofit can involve fitting more protective barriers to increase the safety for maintenance personnel, or fitting plastic plugs on bolts to reduce the noise of the windmill or something else entirely.

Keeping wind mills operational
At Vink we have made it a priority to be able to deliver swiftly for projects involving retrofit, as we realize the importance of working with active windmills. In some rare cases the windmill may have to be standing still while waiting for the retrofit parts, and we want to help our customers in the wind industry avoid that as much as possible.
