Kit Supply for the Wind Industry
Over the years Vink Plast has performed a number of assembly tasks for the wind turbine industry. The work has mainly been done for OEM’s, but we have also suppled tier 1 suppliers with assembled parts.
Examples of assembly that we have done are:
- Metal parts mounted on machined plastic parts
- Gluing gaskets on vacuum-formed parts and afterwards mounting bolts and nuts
- Mounting nut and washers on injection-moulded parts
The examples of small assembly listed, we are able to do in all our factories. For years we also assembled the Helihoist platform for one of the OEM’s offshore turbines. These assembly tasks involved glassfiber reinforced plastics (GRP), stainless steel and galvanized steel.
